We learn from a very early age to blend in.  We spend so much time hiding who we really are and how we really feel and instead we try to be who we think others want us to be.  We try and say all the right things so that others will like us and we will fit in.  God in His beautiful, kind, and loving way is calling us out of hiding.  He is saying to us “Show me YOUR face, let me hear YOUR voice, for the YOU that I created is lovely, and YOUR thoughts and opinions, personality and temperament …YOUR voice, is sweet.”  
     The invitation is personal and intimate.  God is telling a story, a beautiful story, in which we each have a part. What He is inviting you to is different than what He is inviting me to, yet all of us together are a part of the same story.  The invitation is as unique and individual as we are.  Will you accept His invitation?  Will you come out of hiding?  He is inviting you…”Show me your face, Let me hear your voice; for your voice is sweet, and your face is lovely.”
