Theme:
"Walking the Line"

To the Team of VNTB Young Men’s #12
As we prepare for VNTB #12 lets be in constant prayer for those that will serve and those who will attend and that the Lord would prepare their hearts for the experience that HE has preordained for each one of them. March will be here before we know it, so let’s be vigilant on our Christian walk.
For VNTB Young Men’s #12 the Lord has given the theme, “Walking the Line”. In Scripture there are 244 references to the term Walking with/in the Spirit. Think the LORD maybe telling us something here!
The Line I’m talking is the straight and narrow path (line) that leads to eternal salvation. In Matthew 7:13-14: it tells us 13"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
As a Christian, you must make a continual choice between walking according to the desires of your old self and walking according to the desires of the Holy Spirit. You can learn to walk in the Holy Spirit as you read and obey God’s Word; give thanks to Him in all things, just to name a few. If you want to live your life walking in the Spirit, tell God now that you want Him to teach you. There is only ONE thing you must do to be successful in your Christian walk.
WALK IN THE SPIRIT
It’s quite plain to see that the Spirit of God expects us not only to live but to walk—not only to claim to live but to walk it out. Do your actions speak more than your words? Or better yet, does your lack of action do the talking for you? This is part of the vision for VNTB #12. If we live in the Spirit let’s act in the nature of the Spirit.
To my friends of the VNTB community, I have been searching my heart regarding this theme and asking myself….Am I Walking the Line?….Am I Walking with the Spirit?…..Or am I walking in the world?
Lets go for a Walk!
